Just a few months ago, I was invited into something extra special– my sister and her fiance’s engagement session on the California Coast (!!!!!). Photographing the love that lives between them and handing them tangible moments of that love amidst the coastal landscape of their beautiful home in California means everything to me. Furthermore, it is truly something profound to have the opportunity to observe and capture a relationship so close to my heart on the sandy beaches of the California Coast!

So, we woke up early on this winter morning in CA, hopeful to beat the crowds of this beautiful beach in the bay area, surrounded by awe-inspiring coastal cliffs and jagged rocks. It sure was a morning I won’t forget, as we traipsed down the trail to the incredible vista of a sprawling shoreline held by rolling lush green hills. It almost felt like a scene straight out of Ireland instead of California!

This job makes me feel things. A lot. Sometimes I think about years down the line, when life looks completely different, and how these images will remain the exact same, taking you back to formative years.
