Alpenglow Alabama Hills Elopement Wedding
Briella + Craig’s Alabama Hills elopement wedding was my favorite sort of untraditional ceremony. It was a soulful, sunrise elopement tucked into the wild beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Surrounded by towering rock formations, the glow of the first morning light, and the stillness of the mountain foothills, they exchanged vows in such a beautiful, intimate moment.
Their elopement wedding was rooted in the things that truly mattered to them: nature, connection, and the quiet, sacred feeling of beginning a new chapter with intention. We centered everything around the magical alpenglow: the warm, rosy light that highlights the mountain tops at sunrise. From the florals to the timeline, every element was designed to harmonize with the light and the land.
I met Briella years ago, so when she reached out to plan their elopement, it was a really lovely full-circle moment. We spent the night before their vows cozied up around a campfire beneath a February full moon. There was a crisp chill in the air, but their energy was warm and electric with anticipation. We went over the timeline I’d helped them build, optimized for the perfect light + designed to keep the day stress-free and fluid.
The next morning, they woke before dawn and got ready slowly in their camper. As the sun began to rise and light washed over the granite peaks, Briella and Craig stood side-by-side in the golden quiet of the morning, promising forever. There were no guests, no noise—just them, the mountains, and the time + space to reflect on their journey!
