Adventurous National Park Engagement Session

For this adventurous national park engagement session, Lindsay and Chris wanted to honor the scenery of their Washington home: the outdoor spaces that brought them together and created the backdrop for countless memories, but also hold potential for their future adventures in married life. AKA: the kind of engagement session I live for.

A couple who loves Adventure

Lindsay and Chris are basically the Pacific Northwest couple I dreamed of taking photos of before I moved out to this beautiful part of the country. They met in college and bonded over their deep passion for the outdoors — making memories together hiking, skiing, camping, fishing, and anything else that got their hands dirty and hearts pounding. They even hiked 2,000 miles of the PCT together with dreams of finishing the rest (what???). Their pure joy and excitement in nature is contagious, and it lights a fire in me for this work that I am so grateful for.

They trusted me enough to help plan their whole day, which was such an honor. We started off by meeting for coffee and pastries in Everett, then made our way to the breathtaking mountains of the North Cascades. We stopped to behold the vibrant, icy blue waters of Diablo Lake. There was the perfect amount of snow dusting the surrounding mountain ranges, and the sun was peeking through the iconic moody clouds of the PNW.

Planning Adventurous Memories for their Engagement Session

Days like this one with Lindsay and Chris are what I always hoped my photography business would look like. Meaningful moments with couples who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty — truly experiencing the splendor of the world around them and allowing me to bear witness to their love story. I’m so thankful for the tangible artifact that these photos are, and for the memories that will last a lifetime.

My mission is always to create experiences for my clients that allow them to find rest and feel alive in beautiful places. I’d love to connect and make this a reality for you and your loved one!

Note: After ongoing communication with rangers, I’ve learned this location is unfortunately no longer available for photoshoots. 🙁 This is definitely disappointing, but there are still so many beautiful spots nearby in the North Cascades that show just as incredible views! I’d love to help you find the perfect spot.
