A Grand Tetons Wedding: Morgan & Luke’s Sunny, Laid-Back Celebration | In The Alpenglow
A Grand Tetons wedding is truly never a bad choice. I’m deeply obsessed with the big mountain views, wide open skies, and the untouched landscapes. Morgan and Luke’s day at Lost Creek Ranch perfectly honored everything that makes this place beautiful, bringing together their love for adventure with all their favorite people.
Morgan and Luke live in Alabama, but a huge part of their relationship has been built around getting outside and exploring new places together. Hiking trips, scenic destinations, and lots of time in nature have always been their thing. After visiting the Tetons on a previous trip, they knew it was where they’d want to return for their wedding. Which gave them the chance to experience that landscape again AND share it with their closest friends and fam.
A Sunrise in Grand Tetons National Park & Laid-Back Wedding Day at Lost Creek Ranch
One of my favorite moments happened the day before their vows! Morgan and Luke wanted some quiet time together before guests arrived, so we planned a sunrise hike out to one of the park’s most iconic alpine lakes. Watching the alpenglow hit the Tetons as the sun came up was unreal. The peaks lit up in soft pinks and golds, reflecting perfectly on the still water. It was calm, quiet, and felt like a reset before the energy of the wedding day kicked in!
Their actual wedding day at Lost Creek Ranch felt so easy and authentic with a vibrant, colorful vibe for summer: nothing overly formal, just people enjoying being together in front of the incredible mountain backdrop. They kept things simple and focused on time with their people, being present, and savoring the day without rushing.
How to Elope in the Grand Tetons
A Grand Tetons wedding perfectly blends an intimate wedding with an unforgettable landscape. Whether that’s a quiet sunrise hike just the two of you or a laid-back celebration with loved ones, it gives you space to experience both. For Morgan and Luke, it was the best of both worlds. Adventure and community, all set against one of the most iconic mountain ranges in the country.
