Elopements on Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park hold a special place in my soul. The fog rolling over evergreens, vivid sunrises and sunsets, a rugged mountain range, and that sort of pure, untouched (and unmatched) beauty that you can’t believe still exists in the world. In the far west corner of Washington State, it is one of the most diverse national parks in the country — lush rainforests, massive glaciers, hot springs, almost 100 miles of coastline with tidepools teeming with wildlife, and more. It’s pure magic, and my heart sings whenever I meet a couple that feels the same way!
Eloping on Hurricane Ridge
Meg and Landon reached out to me with their vision of a Hurricane Ridge elopement and I couldn’t wait to help them live out an unforgettable adventure. They had such adventurous spirits, and didn’t just want to share vows with a scenic background — they wanted a full day of intimate moments to experience all that this corner of the world has to offer.
And together, we did just that! On the morning of their elopement, they canoed through the calm and vibrant blue waters of Lake Crescent, cozying up and feeling the chill of the morning Pacific Northwest air. Then they soaked up the sun during an afternoon walk along the pristine beaches of La Push. Their idyllic day was complete with a vow exchange on Hurricane Ridge — the sunset hitting the snowy peaks around them.
