Washington State Airbnb Wedding Venue Guide

Now more than ever, couples are taking a hard look at what their wedding ceremony represents and if it truly reflects what makes their relationship special. While there’s nothing wrong with a large event for your wedding, there’s something so beautiful and sacred about a small ceremony focused on adventure and intimacy. Something I’ve always loved recommending to couples is having your ceremony at an Airbnb venue in Washington state. They’re such a perfect home base for adventure elopements. They’re quiet and private in nature, curated with the perfect outdoorsy aesthetic, easy access to the parks and their natural beauty, and even perfect for a small ceremony on the property! So…if I’ve even slightly convinced you, the following should really seal the deal. Keep scrolling for my top 5 suggestions for Airbnb wedding venues in Washington!

Top 5 Airbnb Wedding Venues in Washington State

It’s no surprise that Washington state is a top destination for adventurers around the world. It has an incredible variety of landscapes, rugged and untouched wilderness, and the most stunning (and often underestimated) summer and fall seasons. But one of the best parts about the state is that it isn’t just a destination for lovers of extreme sports and the wild outdoorsy types. The beauty of its nature is so accessible and there are countless spots for the perfect elopement! If you’re considering sharing your vows here, check out this blog for a complete guide on eloping in Washington state.

Mt. Baker Hygge House

Rating: 4.9
Sleeps: 4
Bedrooms: 1
Bathrooms: 1
Location: Deming, WA

Oh man, this Airbnb. It truly feels like it showcases all the best things that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. It’s surrounded on all sides by thick and beautiful evergreen trees, its design is modern and carefully curated, has large windows that make you feel like you’re right in the forest, and cozy fireplace, and (my personal favorite) a HOT TUB. What makes it even better though is the proximity to Mt. Baker. It’s only a 40-minute drive away! The mountain range that surrounds this mountain is often referred to as the “North American Alps”, and for good reason. The rugged peaks are unlike anything I’ve seen, and there are so many scenic lookouts to witness the magnificence.

The best time to stay here would be late July through early October, when the days are long and warm. If you want more lodging options in this area, make sure to check out my complete guide to Mt. Baker Airbnbs. And if you’re craving a glimpse of what your photos could look like in this location, check out my gallery of Annalise & Victor’s engagement session.

Mt. Rainier A Frame Cabin

Rating: 5.0
Sleeps: 4
Bedrooms: 1
Bathrooms: 1
Location: Ashford, WA

This sweet A-frame cabin is the perfect basecamp for you and your love, or your full elopement crew! It’s tucked away in the forest, has the coziest design, and ideal proximity to Mt. Rainier. In the small town of Ashford, you have easy access to gas, groceries, and amenities. However, you’re still going to feel so peaceful and secluded. You’re only 5 minutes away from the park entrance, which leads you to so many potential elopement ceremony sites: hikes along glacially fed rivers, walks through thick forests, fields of wildflowers, and more.

Similar to the Mt. Baker area, the best time to visit would be mid-July through early October. I’ve also created a complete guide on how to elope in Mt. Rainier National Park, as well as a list of Airbnbs JUST in this area. Check them both out for more inspiration for your adventure elopement!

Granite Falls Canyon Creek Cabin

Rating: 4.85
Sleeps: 2
Bedrooms: 1
Bathrooms: 1
Location: Granite Falls, WA

This cabin is all things cozy and moody! Just steps away from a picturesque creek, it has the coolest modern design, hot tub, fireplace, and even has two cabins right next to it that are owned by the same folks! It could either be a luxurious getaway for you and your love, or a basecamp for your friends and family.

The cabin is just a one-hour drive from Seattle, and just minutes outside of Granite Falls, WA. This area is often referred to as the gateway to the Cascades, and the cabin is just a 20-minute drive to some of the best hiking and most beautiful natural features that Washington has to offer. And if you want to venture a little farther, some of my favorite hikes in Washington are just 40 minutes away along the Mountain Loop Highway — think perfect mountain views, lush forests and even ice caves!

The Central Cascades are also a great place to visit in the months outside of the peak summer season! This cabin is great anytime between May and November. Plus, a bit of a drizzle just makes hot tubing in the forest all the more romantic.

Olympic National Park Cabin

Rating: 4.9
Sleeps: 6
Bedrooms: 2
Bathrooms: 1
Location: Port Angeles, WA

One of the things that makes the Olympic National Park so incredible is how remote and untouched it is. It’s beautifully wild and authentic, which makes it tough to find places that are accessible AND showcase the beauty of this part of the world! Thankfully, this cabin does just that. Located in Port Angeles (a really fun waterfront town with great restaurants and shops), it has incredible mountain views, a large and private property, cozy interior, a hot tub (obviously) and a crackling fireplace.

It’s a perfect haven to explore all the diversity the Olympic Peninsula has to offer: lush lupine covered meadows, bald eagles soaring overhead, snow covered peaks, and more. This space is the ideal northwest experience, only 40 minutes from Hurricane Ridge and hikes on the ridgeline, and a quick drive to Lake Crescent and mossy forest galore.

Since it’s close to a larger town, this area is also great to visit in the off-season! A visit anytime May through November will be beautiful. Make sure to check out this list for more Airbnbs in the area, and my full Olympic National Park elopement guide here.

Leavenworth River Cabin

Rating: 4.89
Sleeps: 6
Bedrooms: 2
Bathrooms: 3
Location: Leavenworth, WA

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It blows my mind how many scenic locations there are for elopements in Washington. One of the most iconic being the Bavarian town of Leavenworth. It has ALL the best things! Quick access to skiing, iconic hikes with mountain views, lots and lots of alpine lakes, powerful and scenic rivers, and more!

I love this property for so many reasons, but mostly because it fits so seamlessly into the nature that surrounds it. It’s perfectly tucked into the hillside, has a giant lawn to take in all the beauty, a quick drive to town & some of Washington’s most famous hikes, and a lovely midcentury design that feels bright and intentionally created. Plus, the town of Leavenworth feels like it’s from a storybook, and  has lots of great amenities!

The best time to host an elopement here would be anytime between Late May and November. And if you’re looking for something a little different but love the Central Cascades, check out my Airbnb list for this area.
