I will never forget the brilliance of the sunset during these Utah sunset portraits with Mallory & Weton! As a photographer, it’s really important to me that your time with me isn’t just about creating good photographs, but creating a vibrant memory that you will cherish. This is an opportunity for exploration, a changed perspective, and celebration. Our world has some incredible corners, hidden scenes of majesty, that still remain a secret. One of the things I get most excited about is sharing these spots with you and giving you a space to behold beauty together. That’s exactly what we did on this night, watching the sky turn gold for Mallory & Weston’s portraits.
Taking Mallory & Weston’s Sunset Portraits in the Utah Desert
This evening exploring the Utah desert with Mallory & Weston for their Utah sunset portraits was unreal! We spent our time breathing in radiant sunshine & exploring the desert scenes of their home in Southern Utah. I had never met these two before that night, but I swear we would be best friends in another life where we lived in closer proximity to each other. We bonded over our shared love of The Avett Brothers, Gregory Alan Isakov, sweet mixed doggos, and our shared last name (I’m convinced we are family). Utah’s desert sun is something else, and we watched it touch the horizon as the moon rose above Hurricane Valley. Here’s to them, and many others, for trusting me to take them to new territory!
My Philosophy as an Utah Adventure Portrait Photographer
It’s here, in these quiet places where an unusual power is present. These are more than just landscapes to me, they are declarations of love. I believe the smallness and security we feel here is a product of love that is much larger than ourselves. I want you to know this powerful force, have the opportunity to interact with it and let it inform/play a role in your own story of love. Therefore, I won’t be the photographer whose only goal is to make you look good. My goal, first and foremost will always be to put you in front of love. To let love do its work on you. Two things that I believe hold infinitely more value. Let’s keep the wandering alive, lovebirds, and go take our own Utah sunset portraits!
